Obligation project

The purpose of this system is to provide a system for tracking obligations throughout the obligation life-cycle which:

• Eliminates the need for the current Excel spreadsheets;
• Provides additional reporting capabilities;
• Is easy for staff to use;
• Is reliable;
• Provides an audit trail;
• Requires little or no daily administrative maintenance;
• Requires little or no daily technical support; and
• Minimizes daily processing time.

The scope of the obligation system is:

• Tracking obligation related information for use within the Finance section;
• Transferring invoice information to AccPac AP;
• Transferring obligation journal information to AccPac AP; and,
• Reporting on obligation information.
