Obligation project
The purpose of this system is to provide a system for tracking obligations throughout the obligation life-cycle which:
- Eliminates the need for the current Excel spreadsheets;
- Provides additional reporting capabilities;
- Is easy for staff to use;
- Is reliable;
- Provides an audit trail;
- Requires little or no daily administrative maintenance;
- Requires little or no daily technical support; and
- Minimizes daily processing time.
The scope of the obligation system is:
- Tracking obligation related information for use within the Finance section;
- Transferring invoice information to AccPac AP;
- Transferring obligation journal information to AccPac AP; and,
- Reporting on obligation information.
