Georgia Techs MBA Web Application

The DuPree College of Management MBA Database is a web based front end designed to interface with an Oracle database of degree program inquiries, students and alumni affiliated with Georgia Institute of Technology. The system was specifically design for Georgia Tech but could easily be tailored for any college or universities needs.

The system has nine functionality topics:

1. Inquiries
2. Students
3. Alumni
4. Cities
5. Countries
6. Schools
7. Reports
8. User Tools
9. Others

Inquiries section has methods allowing users to Add, Edit, Delete and Post degree program inquiries for Georgia Institute of Technology.

Students section has methods allowing users to Edit, Delete and Post students records.

Alumni section has methods allowing users to Add, Edit and Delete alumni records.

Posting records is the method of moving one record from one person status to the next. For example, a person is an inquiry first before becoming a student. When the person starts their education the person record is then moved from Inquiries to Students.

Cities, Countries and Schools sections all have methods allowing the user to Add, Edit, Delete and Merge records.

The Reports section has specific reporting forms mostly based on Degree Program, Matriculation Date and Percentile Range. The reports revolve around Inquiries, Applications, Undergraduate Studies, Undergraduate Schools, GPA, GMAT, Age, Monthly Work Experience and GRA. All reports can also be custome tailored for any college or universities needs.

User Tools section allows the user to Edit their own profile and password using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). Administrative users can also Add, Edit and Disable other users using the LDAP interface.
